Great News for Eugene Onegin Fans

Opera AND ballet in 2026!!!

For all the Pushkin and Tchaikovsky fans out there!!! So glad we read Eugene Onegin last year!!! Ralph Fiennes is directing the opera in Paris in February, 2026 - AND Joffrey Ballet of Chicago commissioned a BALLET based on “Eugene Onegin” from the same team who created the spectacular “Anna Karenina” - which I saw in Chicago in 2019 and 2023!!! The “Anna Karenina” ballet will be performed by the National Ballet of Canada this coming June - AND the Joffrey “Eugene Onegin” will see its premier in Chicago in June, 2026!!! This time - see you at the ballet!!! All of us will be rereading “Eugene Onegin” over winter break!!!
