Jókai Mór statue by Stróbl Alajos - and other sculptural groups
"100 Days of Jókai Mór" February 1- April 30, 2025
Jókai Mór statue in Jókai Square, facing Andrássy Avenue, Budapest, unveiled in 1921, by the immensely popular sculptor Stróbl Alajos (1856-1926). Some of his most famous sculptures include the King Saint Stephen of Hungary stature by the 11th century Matthias Church on the Castle Hill and the Matthias Fountain in the Buda Castle (my photos from 2024, 2022, and 2023).
