Fountain of King Matthias - see my January and February notes - with the Hunyadi Courtyard in the background - and a full moon hanging over the National Széchényi Library… All of these structures were severely damaged during the 1944-1945 Allied bombing… The gorgeous white building with the patio is the Royal Guard building - recently reconstructed and housing a fabulous cafe…
